There is an Expert mode with more options presented and an Easy mode (default is easy mode). On the right side are the description, phrase content, a select-able hot key, auto text to use alone or with an application, and a select-able option for how long to wait before executing the text expanding transformation. On the left side is the Phrases and Folders pane where text snippets can be organized in whatever way makes the most sense (types of greetings, email phrasing, projects, companies, etc.). The interface has a serious row of menu options lining the top of the application window.
